The CRO is a respected member of the La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce.
Reservations/Cancellations
Reservations are first come, first serve. Individual rooms are not for rent. The
CRO is rented as the whole house for security reasons. To reserve, during Holiday or festival periods, We will need the entire rental paid in advance. During other times of the
year, I will need the first night's rental amount as a deposit. Full payment for the remaining days is
due when we greet you for check-in after you have had a chance to see your
country home away from home.
The CRO Cancellation Policy is that all deposits and rental payments are refundable for (a) emergency situations or (b) if you have given
fourteen (14) day advance notice. In all other cases refunds will be made minus one night's rate plus tax.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in times are generally anytime after 1:00 P.M. and Check-out times are 11:00 A.M. However, we can usually accommodate special
times if necessary. Either I or someone in my family will meet with you at check-in.
Rates/Payment Methods
Rates vary based on the time of year and number of persons and are subject to the Texas 6% Hotel Occupancy Tax.
Generally (excluding unique situations such as a lot of children and few
adults), the Summer and Winter rates are $115.00 for the first two adults (age
13 or older) spending the night and $15.00 for each additional adult per night.
Spring and Fall rates are $125.00 for the first two adults spending the night
and $20.00 for each additional adult per night. Adults just staying for the day
are $5.00 each. Rates are subject to change at anytime. We generally require a 3 night minimum during Holidays or festival periods (e.g., Antique Weekends, July 4th, Labor day, Xmas, Thanksgiving, etc.) and generally 2 nights at other times of the year. We say "generally" because for larger groups (e.g., family reunions, one day/night wedding parties, BP MS 150 Bike Ride, business retreats, etc.) the daily minimum might be waived. The Colorado River Overlook accepts MC, Visa, and Discover. Personal or Business Checks in advance. Credit card information (and possibly a deposit) must be provided for all rentals in case there is property damage from abuse. We love animals and pets are welcome but a pet deposit may be required. Please inform us at time of reservation if you intend on having pets during your stay.

All private information (e.g, credit card information, phone numbers, etc.) submitted through the internet, by phone or mail, or in person, will be considered confidential as required by applicable laws. We (myself or immediate family members, owners of the CRO) will never sell or share your information to any Spammers. However, We may disclose your information to Credit Card companies to process rental payments or if required under state or federal law.
